All of our painted storage buildings are constructed to hold up to the harsh New England environment. They’re built to withstand a ground snow load of 90 psf in order to stand up to our Maine winters!
Hill View Mini Barns began in 1999 – starting as a one man shop to where it is now – over 60 employees across the State of Maine. We deliver outside of Maine as well. The core of the business has always been storage buildings but has grown to finished camps, two car garages, and log sided homes. Year after year, people come back for their second (or more) building and keep referring their friends to us. We want you to have the best experience at Hill View Mini Barns.
SmartSide® sided storage buildings are the most economical storage sheds that we offer. They can be built in sizes ranging from 8’x8′ all the way up to 14’x48′!

Current lead time for Storage and 12′ single garages is 4 to 5 weeks.

Monoslope Storage Building
The Monoslope storage building offers a simple yet effective design that maximizes usable space and sheds water and snow efficiently. It allows for excellent headroom and storage capacity for larger equipment or supplies, while the open interior layout makes organization and access easy.

Low Side Storage Barn
The Low Side building is a low cost storage solution designed to fit nicely on a small space or lot. If you need to keep your basic lawn and garden equipment dry or if you need some additional storage for your household items, then this is the barn for you.

A-Frame Storage Building
The A-frame building gives you higher side walls than the other storage buildings. It gives you room for shelving along the wall while still getting necessary floor space. If you’d like additional windows on any of the walls, that’s not a problem.
- 81-1/2” wall up to 10’x14′, 87” wall for 10’x16′, larger than 10’x16′ – 88-1/2″ wall.

A-Frame Classic
The A-Frame Classic gives you the spaciousness of an A-Frame with additional design features that make for a beautiful building. Get a classic New England look with the transom doors and heavy hardware. These doors look elegant and let more light into the building. The windows that are included in the base price also improve the look and provide additional ventilation.

A-frame Plus
The A-Frame Plus is an upgrade from the standard A-Frame, giving your building a sharp look and wider overhangs. Use it as a garden shed, She-shed, overflow home storage, or art studio!
- 88.5” walls

- Includes windows with 4″ trim
- Wider 4″ soffit and 3″ gable overhangs with 1″x6″ facsia trim are included on the sides and ends of building

High Side Storage Barn
The High Side is a spacious storage barn with a traditional barn look. This is a favorite with many people. It neatly fits an ATV, snowblower, large mower, etc.

Cottage Style Storage
The Cottage can enhance any back yard while giving you the storage space you need. It’s roomy and stylish. Prices include windows with trim.

Economy Storage Building
The Econo-Shed storage building was designed for those who need a storage solution but want to save money by doing some of the work themselves. It still gives you a solid building, although simpler. Floor joists are placed every 24″ and it comes with 3 pressure treated skids to keep it off the ground. The Econo-Shed is offered in 9 sizes – 8′ and 10′ wide in order to accommodate our most popular sizes. The siding will need to be painted by you after purchase. Vinyl Sided Storage Buildings to match your house
Many of our customers want to match their existing vinyl sided home and want the look of a horizontal siding. A few years ago we started to offer an option for these customers. Many colors are available to choose from. The vinyl storage buildings range from 8’x8′ up to 13’x40′. Due to the additional materials and labor, they are priced higher than our SmartSide® buildings.
Pine Board and Batten Storage- cottage style
Our pine board and batten storage buildings are a popular choice for those wanting a more rustic look. They can be stained with various colors or left to gray naturally. They’re sided with solid pine and the interior framing is as beautiful as the exterior to look at. These make wonderful garden sheds especially with added plant boxes for the windows. They come with heavy door hardware and two windows are included. There is a generous overhang on the door/window side.

How soon can you deliver a storage building to me?
Our production schedule can vary between the seasons. In the beginning of the year it may be 4 weeks but as the summer season progresses we may be backed up 12 weeks or so. The best thing is to call one of the offices at 207-269-2800 to get an accurate idea of the lead time or check our current lead times here.
How far do you deliver?
We deliver throughout Maine and New Hampshire and parts of Vermont and Massachusetts.
How large can you manufacture?
We can manufacture the painted storage buildings as large as 14×48. That’s a lot of storage!
Are these built in Maine?
Yes, our painted sheds are manufactured in Etna, Maine. We’ve been building storage barns and employing local workers in Maine for over 24 years.
How does site prep work?
Contingent upon where you are located within the state of Maine you can purchase a gravel pad through us. We work with subcontractors to ensure a laser leveled, compacted gravel pad is completed.
