Stick built, double-wide garages

Sometimes you need a garage that has more space, more options, or has space for that workshop you’ve always dreamt of.

These are double wide garages that are finished on-site as needed. Much of the work is done in our climate controlled shop. With these garages, you’ll have room for two vehicles, a boat or use one side for a workshop.

Features of two car (stick built) garages include:

Walls 8′ – 2″x4″, 16″ o.c.
Roof: Engineered roof trusses – 24″ o.c.

36″ fiberglass pre-hung door w/ 9-lite glass
2- 9’x7′ overhead doors (unless noted)

Foundation work/slab is not included in these prices. The slab will be calculated per job according to site and size of building.

We can also set garage walls on your properly prepared curb walls (please talk to sales staff for pricing).

No sales tax is charged on stick built garages.

FAQs

How soon can you build and deliver?

The schedule for our site crew varies from 2-8 months lead time depending on the time of year. Please contact us at 207-269-2800 and ask for a sales rep near you for an up to date lead time.

How far do you deliver?

Our stick-built garages are limited to the state of Maine.

How large can you manufacture?

The largest we can manufacture is 32×48 with either a 5/12 pitch roof or 8/12 pitch roof to include upstairs storage.

Are these built entirely on site?

We prefab as much as we can in our warehouse in Etna to enable more efficiency on site.

How long will you be on site?

On site time will vary depending on the scope of the job. It may be a day for smaller jobs up to 3 or 4 days for larger jobs.

How does site prep work?

Generally, site work/concrete work is completed by others. If needed, Hill View can work with you as the general contractor.

Is delivery included?

Yes, up to 30 miles from our Etna location. There is a mileage fee added when the job is beyond 30 miles of the shop in Etna. This depends on the size of the garage. Feel free to contact us at 207-269-2800 and ask for a sales rep near you to discuss mileage fees.

Can you customize the stick built garages?

We “customize” the garages with most of the options that we offer – stock paint colors, windows, doors, etc.. We do not finish off garages or do living spaces in garages. If there’s an item that you want installed in a garage the best thing is to talk it over with a salesman to see if it’s a possibility. We are able to keep our prices low by streamlining what kind of options we offer, so please contact us at 207-269-2800 and ask for a sales rep near you to discuss customizations.

Do you offer electrical work?

We do not offer electrical work for our stick-built garages. It makes more sense for you financially to hire an electrician local to you.

Can I do the rent to own on a stick built garage?

A stick-built garage is a permanent structure and over our maximum dollar limit, therefore, we do not offer this product on our Rent to Own.
